February Sister Circle

Hello, my sisters! Let us step into intention and sisterhood for this moon cycle. This will be our second of twelve gatherings for 2024.

We will hold a “Menarche Reclamation Ceremony” for our February circle. Followed by an optional potluck.

This ceremony is all about reclaiming the power of your sacred bleed.

Perhaps when you encountered your first bleed as a young girl, your mother reacted with fear instead of joy. Or another shamed you into feeling your sacred bleed was something to hide. Whatever the situation around your sacred bleed, we will gather on this full moon to reclaim our power as women.

You will all be guided through a sacred, delicious, and luxurious reclamation ceremony.

This ceremony is for maidens, mothers, and wise women.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED -

~ Pillow and blanket for comfort

~ Water bottle

~ A dish to share if participating in the potluck

~ A sacred item for the alter

Our circle will start at 6:00 p.m. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so there are no disruptions once the circle has opened.

Donations to this event are greatly appreciated but not required or expected.

I look forward to opening up sacred space and guiding you through this highly transformative ceremony.

Intro To Zine Making

What is a zine?

A zine is most commonly a small circulation publication of original or appropriated texts and images. Often produced in editions of less than 1,000. Profit is not the primary intent of publication. There are so many types of zines: art and photography zines, literary zines, social and political zines, music zines, perzines (personal zines), travel zines, health zines, and food zines.

Sound like something up your alley?

We will go over the history of zines, Melanie has made many zines over the last 20 years. Class is open for ages 14 and up.

If you have a topic in mind please bring appropriate photos/comics or drawings, favorite stamps and ink, stickers, and any extra magazines/books for cutting up to share with the group.

We provide: paper, glue, scissors, a copier, a laptop for font gathering, markers, pencils, binding thread/needle (feel free to bring any of your own tools)

The suggested donation is $10

Total Lunar Eclipse women’s cricle

Join us on Friday, April 21st for a Women's Circle in celebration of a rare astronomical event occurring on April 20th! A hybrid solar eclipse in Aries. This celestial phenomenon is a unique combination of a total and annular eclipse. As a result, the moon's shadow will fall on the Earth, partially blocking the sun's rays and creating a beautiful ring of fire around the moon. So, get ready to ignite your inner fire and embrace a season of new possibilities!

Ruled by the fiery planet of action and war, Mars, this daring sign embodies a trailblazing spirit, fearless and spontaneous, with a "do first, think later" mindset. With the hybrid solar eclipse in Aries, we can expect a decisive shift in energy that will inspire us to take action, pursue our passions, and start new projects.

Aries invites us to step into uncharted territory and embrace the thrill of the journey. Of course, your pursuits will differ based on where Aries falls in your chart, but you can expect to feel restless and more ambitious than ever. For this hybrid solar eclipse, you must welcome whatever makes you question your sense of self. These major realizations are here to help you move closer to your soul’s purpose. So use this hybrid solar eclipse in the sign of the Ram to set new projects in motion and take that leap of faith.

We will be led by Ashley Coleman from @Winged Alchemy! As a shamanic energy healer, Ashley will be leading us through a Shamanic Rite called “The Rite of the Womb” The Rite of the Womb is a Shamanic Initiation passed down from a lineage of Shamans in the Peruvian Andes.

The Rite of the Womb is a sacred blessing to help heal all fear inside of the womb space and help a woman return to her powers of creation that were once stiffled or shamed.

This energetic transmission supports the release of fear and trauma that may be stored inside of the womb... the portal to all of life.

We will follow the evening with a potluck! So, please bring a dish to share.

To register for this event please contact The Folk Farm on Facebook, Instagram, or email!

Email - thefolkfarmmusic@gmail.com

The Folk Farm will be collecting donations for this event for Ashleys time and expertise! Though donations are not required but are greatly appreciated!
